DEATH IS WHOEVER DOES DEATH'S JOB. -Mort, from Terry Pratchett's "Mort"
Been a while since I finished something fully rendered. Relatively happy with this, and frankly I was having a lot of fun; been wanting to do a picture of Mort for ages.
I think this really brings forth the feeling of the book. Mort looks to be pretty ambitious, while aware of the risk of being so with Death as his boss.
Ooh, lovely! I really like this version of Death and Mort. It looks very nice, very dark, but at the same time not depressing at all. And Mort's eyes...<3
I love the detail you went into all over, but especially in the sword handle.
Late comment is late, but this is so awesome, it merited an acknowledgement XD I love Mort and the way you've drawn him with Death here is awesome- super intimidating but at the same time... it's a master-apprentice relationship that's not inimical. And Mort's eyes are awesomely unnerving.
wow, this is amazing. The coloring is breathtaking, and I love the way Mort's eyes stand stand out against the rest of it. The hilt of the sword is brilliantly detailed and I honestly can't find a single thing that could be improved in any way. +fav
